One of the central objectives of Dar al-Turath al-Islami, in fulfilling its mission and the three maqāṣid upon which it is founded, is the dissemination of authentic Islamic knowledge. In pursuit of this objective, the institution launched its part-time Higher Islamic Education programme in 2009. Building on its continued growth, the full-time Ribāṭ, Dār al-Ṣafā, was established in 2016. In 2024, the institution further expanded its educational mission with the establishment of the full-time women’s Ribāṭ, Nūr al-Batūl al-Zahrāʾ, reaffirming its commitment to providing sound Islamic education and spiritual development for both men and women.

Recognising the importance of providing accurate, reliable, and scholarly Islamic guidance, Dar al-Turath al-Islami has also been issuing fatāwā and legal guidance since 2016. As the scope of this work steadily expanded in both volume and responsibility, it was formally given the name Department of Fatwa and Research in 2026.

Through this work, the Department has developed a clear vision, together with general and specific objectives, through which it seeks to serve the Muslim community by providing sound legal verdicts, conducting scholarly research, and addressing contemporary issues in light of the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the established principles of Islamic jurisprudence.
